Responsibilities: The Business Support Consultant is a highly motivated professional who utilizes strong collaborative, influencing and facilitation skills to design new robust and lean processes, complying with regulatory guidelines and internal policies. This role will incorporate a strong consultant oriented approach working with the business lines within Payment Operations to design and deliver local change initiatives and new & improved processes; supported by detailed process maps, procedures and standard operating procedures. Through engagement with business partners and a solid understanding of payment products and operational processes, the incumbent will deliver successful local change initiatives with high quality documentation for Payment Operations. This role will also serve providing diverse support for Payment Operations initiatives. Primary responsibilities include: Perform process walkthroughs, analyze operations processes and design new robust processes complying with regulatory requirements and internal policiesCreate high quality process maps, procedures, standard operating procedures and training materialsCreate, develop and analyze metric reporting and statistics for Payment Operations.Partner with Business Lines & Risk to improve existing processes and create risk resilient processesLead/manage projects related to processes and documentation. May train/guide junior team members.Create high quality internal communications to business partners and Senior managementLead and support the delivery of high quality documentation for teams across Payment OperationsCreate, maintain and act as the custodian of the taxonomy of processes and the central repository of documentation for all of Payment OperationsDevelop strong working relationships with teams across Payment Operations and the Risk teamCollaborate and create high quality presentation reporting to represent Payment Ops business including but not limited to Executive presentations.Collaborate with project team stakeholders and senior management as needed to ensure project and business needs are met without disruption to existing functions and services

Qualifications

Qualifications: Excellent organizational skillsExperience with creating metric reporting and analysisExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office- including MS Visio, MS Word and MS PowerPointMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in process designing and mappingAbility to plan and prioritize workloadAbility to meet timelines within an environment of competing prioritiesAbility to work independently and collaborate with teams Ability to influence across varying levels and organizationsKnowledge of the Group Policy FrameworkStrong analytical skillsPreferred Skills/Experience:Understanding of Commercial Payment Operations processingKnowledge of products and processes within Payment Operations/ Treasury SolutionsAbility to build and nurture relationshipsManagement experienceProject management skillsEducational, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials: Required – Associates Degree or 5 years relevant work experiencePreferred – Bachelor DegreePreferred – A professional certification in process management, business analysis or project managementHours and work scheduleHours per Week: 40Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PMHours may be subject to change to meet business needs
